First Choice Catering Spares Case Study

Since moving to its present site in Cannock, First Choice has continued its business growth, and now occupies  all the business units available in the building run.

When the latest expansion was planned, incorporating a much larger open plan office space, meeting rooms and a showroom, as well as adding the latest in automated conveyor technology for the fulfilling of their hundreds of spares orders every day, they turned to First in Service to design and install the new cooling for the office space, as well as space heating for the new conveyor area.

A ducted and cassette based installation was chosen, using the latest technology from Mitsubishi Air Conditioning, with external units installed in vandal proof cages.
Wall mounted units were installed in meeting rooms and the showroom, and the open area is cooled by cassette units within the ceiling void. The new warehouse area is heated by a high level Combat gas fired unit.

John Whitehouse, Managing Director, expressed his pleasure with the installation, saying ‘ it was installed on time and within budget – what more can I ask? My staff are happy to work in a pleasant, controlled environment,  and so are more productive. I’d be happy to recommend First in Service – they did a first class job’.
